Football Player Aaron Ramsey Boosts Incentive for Missing Pet in Mexico to $20,000
Wales athlete Aaron Ramsey has raised the incentive for details about the missing dog Halo to $20,000.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently is with the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, stated that the beagle was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state area.
The beagle, who disappeared on 9 October, was wearing a GPS collar, and Ramsey published a map pinpoint of the spot she vanished from.
"Any updates about our beloved Halo please contact us. Significant bounty for locating her. We are all wishing she is safe and will return with us shortly," the athlete wrote on Instagram.
Initial Bounty and Heartfelt Pleas
Ramsey first disclosed that his dog had disappeared 14 days prior and has subsequently uploaded multiple photos of the cherished dog on Instagram.
A seven thousand five hundred pound bounty was first announced, but with absence of information on Halo's location after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones doubled the reward.
"Our only wish is our girl back," he said in a further request on social media after the 10-year-old dog went missing.
The latest picture upload is a monochrome snapshot of Halo napping, her head lying in the bend of Ramsey's arm, with the message: "How I wish to hold you once more Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Context
The footballer has additionally shared a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media indicating they have some "serious queries" regarding the disappearance and worry the family "could possibly not receive clarity".
"We have yet to are still searching for Halo. I don't think we will ever," the spouse's update expressed.
The Wales skipper signed with Mexican top-flight club Pumas UNAM in recent months and made his debut in Liga MX in the eighth month.
